Once upon a time, in a small New England suburban, I was in middle school (grade 8) and was assigned a project. A skein of yarn was bought for the completion of this project to make a little mop/broom model. The project did not require the whole skein, and there was a lot leftover. I don’t like wasting things, and….
Around the same time, my mother bought a really tiny crochet hook to try to fix a sweater that had ripped. (Sadly, she could not fix it.) So….
With these two events colliding, I borrowed a book from the library and started to learn how to crochet. The rest is history.
