Twinkie Chan’s 20 Yummy Treats

On a recent Motif Monday, I mentioned Twinkie Chanโ€™s Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies: 20 Yummy Treats to Wear, and I finally got it from the library!

For “20 yummy treats”, 17 of them are scarves. The three non-scarves are:
1. a tissue cozy (you can’t even wear this one)
2. a hat
3. fingerless mittens.
They are all definitely very creative and cute, regardless. It’s all very colorful looking, and the yarns she lists aren’t very fancy (just Lion Brand mostly), so completely affordable. The patterns seem very easy too.

The book is divided into three parts: sweet things, fruits & veggies, and savory stuff.

Ooooh, savory stuff….

While I do enjoy a good cupcake or cookie scarf, bacon, toast, and pizza tend to win out. Although….

Spaghetti & Meatballs Scarf?

That is just strands of yarn tied together with crocheted “meatballs.”

So, if you like making gingerbread men, salads, or sushi scarves, definitely check this book out.
